Forensic psychology is the intersection between psychology and the legal system.

It involves understanding fundamental clinical and legal principles, particularly with regard to expert witness testimony and interaction with judges, attorneys, and other legal professionals.

2Do you provide treatment?

In addition to the practice of forensic psychology, Dr. Berardino provides clinical treatment for minors age 12 and up and adults.

3 What are your rates?

Clinical- Dr. Berardino accepts Blue Shield, Blue Cross, and Cigna insurance. Cash pay sessions are billed at $180 for the initial session, and $150 per hour thereafter.

Forensic- These rates depend on the type of evaluation or service requested.

4How long have you been practicing and licensed?

Dr. Berardino received her Ph.D. in 1999, has been licensed through the State of California since 2001, and has acted as the Chief Forensic Psychologist in Orange County since 2005.

5When do you offer appointments and will you travel?

Clinical- Dr. Berardino offers day and evening appointments for your convenience. All clinical treatment is done at the Laguna Hills office, which is wheelchair accessible.

Forensic- Dr. Berardino will travel for evaluations and court testimony.
